God Is Never Wrong
(From an email I received)
God never lies!
A king who did not believe in the goodness of God, had a slave who, in all circumstances would say: My king, do not be discouraged, because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes! One day they went hunting and along the way a wild animal attacked the king. His slave managed to kill the animal, but could not prevent his majesty from losing a finger.
Furious and without showing his gratitude for being saved, the nobleman said “Is God good? If He was good, I would not have been attacked and lost my finger.” The slave replied only “My king, despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good, and he knows the “why” of all these things.What God does is perfect. He is never wrong!”
Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his slave. Later, he left for another hunt and was captured by savages who made human sacrifices. While on the altar, ready to sacrifice the noble, the savage found that the victim had a missing finger and so he was released. According to them: he was not so complete to be offered to the gods.
Upon his return to the palace, the king authorized the release of his slave to whom he said very affectionately: – My dear, God was really good to me! I was almost killed by the wild men, but for lack of a single finger, I was let go! But I have a question: If God is so good, why did he allow me to put you in jail? My King, if I had gone with you in this hunt, I would have been sacrificed for you, because I have no missing finger.
Therefore, remember: everything God does is perfect. HE is never wrong. Often we complain about life and the negative things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is random and that everything has a purpose.
Every morning, offer your day to God. Ask God to inspire your thoughts, guide your actions, to ease your feelings. And do not be afraid. God is never wrong!

The path of God and his word is perfect, without impurities. It is the way of all those who trust in him, as he says in 2 Samuel 22: 31. Surely this message arrived at the right moment. God knows, He knows why.

I encourage each of you to change how you look at life…the trials and tests that you face…the times that you feel like everyone has left, including God…when you’re between a rock and a hard place…
Remember and stand on the promises of God and before you realize it, the test will be over and you will emerge victorious. God loves each and every one of us. His ways are past finding out so it helps to trust him. There are times in which you will not understand what’s happening…why it’s happening…etc. If you take a moment and be silent in the presence of God, you will hear His still small voice saying, “Trust me.”

Take My Life

It’s the kind of unrehearsed comment you’d expect to hear on Bill Cosby’s Kids Say The Darndest Things. The interviewer was asking children about their career aspirations. When a certain little girl was asked what she wanted to do “when she got big like her mommy,” she replied, “Go on a diet!”
Sometimes the thoughts we have about our future goals are different from what God has in mind. He isn’t all that concerned about our career or geographic plans or our retirement dreams. His desires for our tomorrows have more to do with the kinds of people we are becoming inside. The color of the collar we wear to work isn’t nearly as important to Him as the content of our character.
As we stand with our backs to His spiritual growth chart, He measures the degree to which our hearts need to be formed, our minds need to be transformed, and our wills need to be conformed. It’s a measuring process that occurs every day for the rest of our lives.
The key, of course, is to let God do His work, to say to Him daily, “Take my life…all of it!”
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
I encourage each of you to review the qualities of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22, 23). Ask God to evaluate each quality while you quietly listen in His presence for His response.
Prayer (modified): Dear Lord, we place our lives completely in your hands. We trust your molding and shaping, which allow us to become who you want us to be in You. We thank you for your grace and mercy, that covers us when we don’t want to be malleable to your perfect will for us. Thank you for being patient with us. Lord, we pray that you will strengthen each woman to say yes to you, in word and deed. We also pray for the power to walk into the destiny you have designed for us. We thank you for hearing and answering prayer. In Jesus name, Amen.
Allow God to change how you look at his plans for your life. He will never LEAD you somewhere and LEAVE you stranded. He is always there…even when you cannot feel Him. Remember, no matter what happens, all things work together for good (Romans 8:28).

The Armor of God
It’s important to get dressed when you get up in the morning. Make sure you put on the correct clothing.
Ephesians 6:11-18
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Lord, thank You for another day! I realize that it is a gift from You. I don’t deserve it, but I am truly thankful for another day. I want to serve You to the best of my ability today, but to do that I must be fully protected from the attacks of the enemy. So, in obedience to Your Word, I will put on the whole armor of God.
Helmet of Salvation – God, let the helmet of salvation be strapped so tightly over my mind that nothing can distract me. Let it cover my thinking so completely that not one thought can slip out from under it and drift into places that are neither pleasing to You nor healthy for me. Let it be so tightly in place that not one evil or negative thought can creep under that helmet into my mind. According to Romans 12:2, don’t let me be conformed to this world’s thinking, but let me be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Let the mind that is in You be in me. Let me think the way You think. Speak to me today in my mind. I want the Holy Ghost to take every thought into captivity today. I want You to be the overseer of my mind. According to Philippians 4:8, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, let me think on these things.
Breastplate of Righteousness – Lord, let me be covered with the breastplate of righteousness today. Not my righteousness because it is as filthy rags. My righteousness is self-righteousness, and the end of that is death. Let me be completely covered in Your righteousness so that none of me shows and only You are visible in my life today.
Belt of Truth – Lord, let my loins be girded with truth. Nothing is more valuable to You than truth. Everything hangs on the belt of truth, so don’t let any deceit be found in me today. Let me speak truth and not lies. Let my actions be honest in every way. Let me be a protector of truth, not compromising in any area of my life. Let me proclaim truth to everyone that I meet, and let me preserve truth so that I can pass it on to the next generation.
Feet Shod with the Gospel of Peace – Lord, let me put on my gospel shoes today. Everywhere that I go, let me seek an opportunity to spread this great gospel. Let me be sensitive to those around me today who may be ready to hear the gospel. Put me in the path of hungry hearers. Give me an open door, and once the door is open, give me an open mouth. Then give them an open heart.
Shield of Faith – Lord, allow me to pick up the shield of faith today. It is so important because I know that without faith it is impossible to please You. Help me to focus on faith. Enlarge my faith. Give me an aggressive faith, not a passive faith, but a faith that will not back down in the face of adversity and that will stand up in the face of the enemy and declare that victory is mine. Help my faith to be steadfast, unwavering, stable, and unflappable. Give me faith that truly believes that You will do what You said You would do in Your Word for anybody, anytime, and anywhere. Let my faith be grounded in You. Give me a faith that will quench every fiery dart that the devil shoots into my life, no matter where it comes from. Whether it is from without or from within, let my faith extinguish it on contact.
Sword of the Spirit – Lord, last but not least, let me pick up the sword of the Spirit so that i can run into the face of the enemy and be aggressive in my fight against hell. Let me be a skilled warrior with the sword, not just swinging it wildly which could damage innocent bystanders, but let me be skillful with it, knowing how to best use it to do damage to the enemy. I understand that this will take practice, so let me daily pick up Your Word and practice using it. Let me know where and when to use it so that it brings the most hurt to the kingdom of darkness. Like You used it in the wilderness to defeat the devil when You said, “It is written,” so let me use it as well.
Go in God – Now i am ready to make the best out of this wonderful day that You have blessed me with. I will be spiritually successful today in Jesus’ Name!

Holy Love
This song was ringing in my ears during my prayer time this morning so I thought I would share it with you all.

The Oregon Coast is a thing of beauty. The craggy rocks that define the shoreline are quite a contrast from the smooth sandy beaches of California. But the long, rugged shoreline of the Northwest boasts romance and personality. The blue waters of the Pacific drench mile after mile of tide waters in which grow tall evergreen trees. The approaching waves fall like the pages of a book blown by an unexpected breeze.
Anyone who has spent time beach combing along Reedsport, Florence, or Lincoln City knows that what is lovely and beautiful to look at is at the same time a power to be reckoned with. Lives are lost each year off the Oregon Coast by those who failed to respect the mysterious force that churns beneath the tranquil glass-like sea.
The Lord is at once loving and holy. He is not to be taken lightly or dismissed as sentimental. That His love is beautiful to behold (not to mention life-changing when embraced) cannot be disputed. But His is a holy love that demands reverence and awe. When we come to Him aware of who He is, we can drink in the unequaled splendor of the Almighty God who has demonstrated His never-ending love that is deeper than the deepest sea.
The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Psalm 93:3-4
Prayer (modified): Dear Lord, help us to take time throughout our day and linger in reverent silence, being aware of the ocean-like power of your holy love. We pray that you will allow us to not only admire the beauty of your love, but reverence it and you. Lord give us opportunities daily to show and tell others of your love. In Jesus name we pray and give obedient thanks. Amen.

Legend records that when she was a little girl, Queen Elizabeth got separated from her parents while on a hike in a forest. Afraid and alone, the young princess followed a path until she came to a cottage. An elderly woman welcomed the child into her home and proceeded to brew a pot of tea. Elizabeth explained her plight and asked for help. The woman, in whose home the princess sought refuge, was most impressed with Elizabeth’s etiquette and grace. Eventually she asked the child, “Are you someone special?” to which Elizabeth answered, “Oh no, mum. I’m no one particularly special. But my father is the king!”
What a wonderful picture of who we are and what we are called to be! In the grand scheme of things, we aren’t all that insignificant. We are easily lost in the jungle of life. We are in need of others to help us find direction. But our Father is the King of the universe. He has everything under control and is not overcome by the challenges that steal our peace. As we focus our eyes on Him instead of the obstacles around us, not only will we discover an ability to cope, we will reflect His grace and beauty. As we look to Him today, those around us will see in us a family resemblance.
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. I Timothy 1:17
Prayer: Celebrate the freedom you have being a creature and not a Creator. Thank God that you are not responsible for holding the world together. Express gratitude that He is.

Repentance
Today’s post is from a seminar on Repentance.
Repentance is a change of mind and intentions that aligns oneself with God’s righteous purposes that result in a change of behavior and outward manifestation. To repent means to change one’s direction. Example:If you are traveling South to Texas and found out that you are going North instead of South, you must repent. Meaning, you must get off the highway and turn around and go south. You MUST change directions.
This 6 letter word has its origin with God. The word repent is first mentioned in Genesis 6:6 and it has reference to God repenting (Even God Repents!) The scripture says “And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the eath, and it grieved him at his heart.
In this scripture there are 2 key words that we will look at 1. Repent 2. Grieve.
God repented-the people were so disobedient, and contrary to what they were taught an so disrespectful until God hated that he made man.The term repent or repented does not imply that God made a mistake in His dealings with men, but rather indicates a change in divine direction, resulting fromt he actions of man. This is called an “Anthro-Popathesim”-A human emotion applied to God; describing the pain that it caused God by the destructiveness of his creations.
The word grieve means to upset someone by intentional disobedience and non compliance to the word of God. This happens when one refuses to comply or cooperate and cause anguish purposefully or non-purposefully. To cause pain and undo-suffering because of disobedience! To aggravate instead of participate. To throw a wrench in the progress of a program or arrangement.
In Matthew 3:1 there came a man of God preaching in the Wilderness named John the Baptist and his message was “Repent ye for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!”
In the Greek, the word repent is pronounced (Metaneo)which means a change of mind that results in a change of conduct. But that doesn’t mean anything unless you change your behavior. Repentance is not merely to be sorry. True repentance involves a change of mind regarding God and Sin and is often accompanied by a sense of sorrow and a corresponding change in conduct. This kind of repentance does not arise within man himself, but is the result of God’s mercy in leading man to it.
In order to do better we as women of God must repent as we go along. When we don’t line up with the Word of God, we must repent! We must make His paths straight, we must straighten and prepare our life in a right relationship with God in order to prepare for the coming of the Lord. In verses 8-10 of the 3rd chapter of Matthew, John the Baptist saw the Pharisees and Sadduces coming to his baptism and he challenged them to know that baptism was not another religious ceremony, but an outward show of an inward repentance, and that it was not for those who refused to repent or were self-righteous. When John saw them coming, he had but one question to ask them and it was, “where is your proof of repentance?” When one repents from lying, his proof is that he stops lying and so on.
John was saying to them that he doesn’t want to just hear words of repentance, but he desired to see the fruit of it. A tree is known by the fruit that it bears. Genuine repentance proves itself by the fruits of a changed life. John then rebuked them for their belief in Nationalistic Salvation, that is trusting in their forefathers, their pedigree, or their religious thought. They said, “we have Abraham to our father,” which meant that they trusted in their physical descent for salvation, rather in God which would have constituted a spiritual relationship to Abraham the “Father of Faith”. You are not saved by the length of time you have been in the church, but you are saved by obeying God’s word and repenting when you get off and do wrong.
It’s very important that we not take advantage of God’s goodness, just because he doesn’t strike you down when you know you are disobedient. You still have not gotten away. God has a time on the calendar for you because you’re going to reap just what you have sown. We often say, God is good all the time”, but do you not know that God is good to some of us to get us to repent. His goodness is supposed to lead us to repentance, not self-righteousness. Paul says in Romans 2:4, “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”
If you are out of order with God, not obedient to leadership, God’s goodness is only to get you to see how right God is and how wrong you are so you will repent. If one refuses to repent, the only thing left for him is judgment and you know that judgment must begin at the house of God, and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (I Peter 4:17)
So the scripture reads in Roman 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Verse 6 speaks to the fact that God will render to every man according to his deeds. In verse 7 he begins to talk about the 2 kinds of rewards, the reward of the repentant an the reward of the non-repentant. Verse 7 speaks of the repentant reward “To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life. Verse 8 speaks of the non-repentant reward. “But unto them that tribulation and anguish are contentious (self-seeking, inclined to argue, belligerent) and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.” Verse 9-Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; Verse 10-But glory, honor, and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.
In the book of Jonah, there was a city that was so wicked that God swore that he would destroy, unless they repent. God being such a loving God, who is not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance; commissioned Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell them that judgment was upon their heads and that the calendar date of of their destruction was right upon them. “But God, who is rich in mercy sent Jonah with a message that had the remedy to save the city and that was to repent. For God said that he would destroy the city in 40 days unless they repent.
Let us all take a look at ourselves in the mirror of God’s word. Let us not willfully sin, but always have a repentant heart in case we have sinned. Self-examination is an important activity when when living a godly life. God is ready and willing to cover every fault in the blood of His son Jesus Christ. The bible says, blessed is the man who’s sins are covered.
